Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Pretty good little place. It's kind of hidden, not a lot of signs, and for some people, it may seem kind of shady. Personall is nice and friendly, but do not expect a Michelin star experience. They accept card. The food is very tasty. The portions are large, and the prices are good."
"Wow! Worked in the area for over a year now and can't believe I've only just discovered this place, what a gem! Ordered the jerk chicken meal which comes with rice and peas, a slice of plantain and a small tub of coleslaw/salad. I had a takeaway ready in 10 mins or so for £6, that's a good deal. Will recommend to my other colleagues, too good to keep a secret :)"
"As a local to this restaurant is was suggested to me by a neighbour as I was in the mood for Our traditional Jamaican soup. I was going to do takeaway however saw the size of the eat in bowl to the take away container so of course ate in. I had ordered the Pea soup which for anyone who doesn't know our cuisine consists of red kidney beans, yam, dumplings, lambs neck & a whole lot of goodness it did not disappoint with flavour & ingredients. It was so much I still ended up putting in a takeaway container. I also ordered the large oxtail meal, for me as a cook myself it was nice but could of had more flavour, more meat and plantain especially for a large, I was offered salad as no coleslaw but it wouldn't change the fact of my slight disappointment. The soup however won hands down. A nice little restaurant with seating etc."
"The food was amazing!! The place may be a bit difficult find as it’s not on the high street but if you go under the sign that says ‘theorem’ it’s right there. We were looking for some authentic food and we’re not disappointed. The service was also amazing and it’s not overpriced. Will definitely be returning. We had the mutton it was amazing so succulent and not chewy at all. Highly recommend."
"New location food still tastes amazing had been craving feel goods jerk chicken for the longest time so was glad to see its back"
"very delicious food and kind staff!! the jerk chicken was amazing :) definitely looking forward to going back"
"This is the best curried "goat" (called mutton on the menu here) that I've had in the UK. And I've had this dish from many cities in the uk. Big portions. Good value. Friendly staff and locals. Nice reggae music playing. Take away or eat in. What more could you want?"
"Fresh tasty food. It's the second time i've been here. They even have homemade cakes and fresh juices available."
